Whilst you wait for results, you can check up on all the pre-election analysis over on the Holyrood Hub.
If you value my work, please consider making a donation to support BBS.
You can download a spreadsheet containing the full results here. This includes a full breakdown, of both votes, for every constituency, for every party.
Notes
Parties are displayed roughly in line with political and constitutional positions: the Greens furthest on the left, Reform furthest on the right. The Lib Dems are in between the SNP and Labour to reflect the possibility they could tolerate or support (respectively) a government led by either party.
All changes are in relation to notional 2021 results on the new boundaries: this is standard practice for parliamentary elections, as for example the 2024 UK General Election. BBS calculated notionals are available here. The estimated impact of boundary changes was to add two Green MSPs: one at Labour’s expense in Glasgow, and a second effectively at the SNP’s in South. The actual results of the 2021 election on the boundaries in place then were 64 SNP MSPs, 31 Conservative, 22 Labour, 8 Green, 4 Lib Dem.
If you find this or other Ballot Box Scotland output useful and/or interesting, and you can afford to do so, please consider donating to support my work. I love doing this, but it’s a one-man project and takes a lot of time and effort. All donations, no matter how small, are greatly appreciated and extremely helpful.
