Survation maintain their tendency to put Labour ahead of the Conservatives for second, though the weakest poll for the SNP in months still shows them with a majority.

ComRes continue to show strong SNP and Green support, whilst the worst poll for the Conservatives since 2016 put Labour in second – a placing immediately overshadowed by Richard Leonard’s resignation.

For the last (?) poll of the year, we see the currently usual AMS-busting SNP success, combined with joint highest figures for the Greens and Independence.
Survation, 4th-9th of December 2020
Continued leads for the SNP and Independence in this poll are joined by an early Christmas present for Labour, with their first Holyrood poll outside the teens in two years.
Ipsos MORI, 20th-26th of November 2020
The second Ipsos MORI poll climbs down from the record SNP and Yes highs in the previous poll though shows clear leads. Conservatives and Labour up, whilst Greens and Lib Dems down.
Panelbase, 5th – 11th of November 2020
The second of that polling double whammy, a projected SNP majority at Holyrood sits alongside marginally above average poll figures for the Conservatives and Labour.
YouGov, 6th – 10th of November 2020
The first of a double-whammy of polls, YouGov shows the currently standard SNP majority, with (relative to other pollsters) lows for Labour, Lib Dems and Greens.

Capping off an extremely busy week both for BBS content and for politics nerds in general, a rare Labour second place is the main story in this otherwise on-trend poll.

Starkly different to the overlapping ComRes poll, Ipsos MORI find a large SNP majority, grim results for Labour, and the highest support for Independence yet seen.
