Some effects unique to Norstat and the fever of a UK general election campaign makes the Holyrood side of this poll extremely messy. Meanwhile, Labour hold a clear lead for that upcoming election, but it appears everyone’s support has plateaued.

The first poll following Humza Yousaf’s resignation as First Minister makes for grim reading for his successor. A buoyant Labour Party seems reasonable, but some oddities here with Reform UK and Alba shares.

An especially weak poll for the SNP also comes with surprising Labour slumps, with a perhaps rather unbelievable gain for the Lib Dems as a counterbalance.

The first BBS Standard Series poll of 2024 brings a new name for an old friend, suggesting a particularly tricky distribution of seats at Holyrood and yet a straight tie on the big constitutional question.

A bruising weak for the SNP continues with another poll where the Holyrood advantage goes clearly to Labour, whilst the constitutional question remains (to nobody’s surprise) stubbornly close.

More bad polling news for the SNP has Labour nipping at their heels at Holyrood, whilst also failing to find an SNP lead for the first time in a standard Westminster poll since before the Independence Referendum.

The first poll conducted after Humza Yousaf took office as First Minister suggests the SNP losing a significant chunk of their constituencies, including his own, with only the second Pro-Union majority at Holyrood of the term so far. Independence support holds up better though it remains in the minority.
